I just read your blog, your response to Ms. McNair and in my opinion, humble as it is, you were too nice.
I have three wonderful babies and they all developed differently. No two babies are the same.. Children are gifts meant to be treasured and encouraged and not rushed too meet some milestone so that they can say they were ahead of the "norm", whatever that is.
I love hearing about Emma Kelly and I think she is perfect and the pictures are adorable. I have several pictures of my daughter in the same pink dress with rabbits on it that you have Emma Kelly in! How sweet!
Pay no attention to the people like Ms. McNair, she obviously lacks real joy in her life and she is looking to complain and ruin someone else's.

I think that hearing your voice on air when you talk about your daughter proves that Emma Kelly is doing wonderful and that she is the joy in your world.
