Kellie Rasberry,
Your daughter will have to deal with jerks like this leah chick, and if little Miss Emma Kellie is lucky, she will handle it with all of the eloquence, class and sophistication that you have just shown in your reply to this Leah B-i***. You are my favorite on the show because I identify with you a great deal. I am a southern belle of the 21st century that is filled with a multitude of manners and hospitality, but who is not afraid to stand up and call a spade a spade when needed. And it was needed and warranted. She was impertinent, rude and classless. She is a person who has to be better than everyone else. She has to make herself feel better by putting down other people. She doesn't feel validated if she is not proving herself to be better than other people.
My Momma tells stories meant to embarrass me about when I was a baby and didn't walk till I was two. Was I developmentally challenged??? NOOOOOOOOO...Just really quick to realize that I had them in the palm of my hand. If I so much as looked as though I wanted something, or to go somewhere, someone was there to pick me up and take me. And it took my Momma threatening them with their lives to not pick me up. It took my Momma doing basically what you did. I cried; I pitched a fit; I even had a pigeon toed gait(Thanx Daddy) and fell alot working for me. I let it be known that I was unhappy with having to transport myself to where ever. Then I realized of course that I could get into so much more trouble and be much more mischevious with my newly learned method of transportation, and well that was more fun than being carried. I dont' think your daughter needs PT. I think she has you, like most Momma's, wrapped, and when she figures out that she will have to do these things, she will develop by leaps and bounds.
Yes you do have an obsession with your weight. All women do...good and bad. Until you become comfortable with knowing that you deserve to be skinny and to be happy with yourself. I learned that a couple years ago when I lost 35 pounds on weight watchers. And somewhere along the way, it just happened. And it will happen for you. I am not a mother, but by the influence of my friends' kids on me, it will happen for you. It's closer than you think, and Emma Kellie will help you, and you won't even see the realization coming. But it's a good day when it does.
Good luck on your weight loss challenge with Big Al. You can so kick his ass, and don't worry about that woman...She's just uncouth, unsouthern and unaware of how desperate she sounds to be one of the 'cool kids' of the world where it's ok to take it slow and do things at your own pace.
Have a great day!!!!
Vanessa
