Sorry to be a little selfish here, but due to the fact I listen to you most every morning, I feel that I kind of know you a bit. I'm also a bit hormonal now - will be explained below.

I greatly admire the grace with which you handle life events and how you are so open and willing to discuss them on the air. You do help a lot of people by being honest about the good and bad in your life.

On that note, I have probably felt more connected because I have recently started the IVF attempts after many years of trying and fibroids etc. My first IVF try was about three months ago. I go in tomorrow for the second "retrieval" and I am praying that this one works (I'm 42 -- I have no time to spare). For some reason I am really frightened of the whole thing this time..I know it hurts now, and I know I can fail. Honestly I went into the first attempt with complete faith that it was going to work. Felt pretty foolish when it didn't. I keep thinking of you and a few other friends that have been successful with this and it gives me hope. Thank you again for sharing and if you have a moment, I sure could use a quick prayer for success.
