Working with and living with a grey is unlike anything I imagined. Their intellignece is so real it is scary. Sam will flat out tell me when he wants something (for example he will say: "Sammy Wants Goodies.... Sammy wants Grape". Goodies are the little peanut and sesame treats. If he asks for a grape and i give him a carrot... he will throw the carrot at me until i give him what he asks for. He will also call us by our names ("Paul" (me or my dad... if he wants me it is normally followed by a want lol)... "Mom" (she is Sam's person LOL).... or "b"(my lab/boxer mix)) He will call and call until that person comes... epecially the dog... all I hear most of the afternoon is "Come here B... Come here... come on... come on... B!.... B!... COMEHERE B!" Of course the dog no longer listens to him and he gets very frusterated.
