I have to have surgery this Wednesday.....tears...

Its outpatient surgery in Indy on my foot. I have high arches, which caused me to have a bone spur, but even those arent the painful thing...the high arches caused fluid to build up around the bone spur causing the pain. Ive had it for over 6 months, and its painful. The dr gives you 3 rounds, spaced out, of cortisone shots, and that usually fixes it. Well, it didnt for me. Because of the fact that I have arches. The surgery i have to be knocked out for, which terrifies me cause im afraid i wont wake up, and the surgery takes about 30 minutes...the dr goes in and cuts the tendon that is stretching in half. I have to wear and air cast for 6 weeks, which is going to put off me going to work after I get my producers license, but at least I get more time to study for the licensing test I guess. I am so worried about this guys...Im so afraid I wont wake up. My husband isnt going with me, cause that is his field day out to make money hopefully, so my mother in law is taking me...but im so scared....
