so right Tim! i have always been given written punishments by a very severe female teacher! she liked to punish girls with lines, rarely boys. so unfair. she had that evil smile on her face when she gave a line writing punishment. she always gave more then 500 lines though; her punishments were quite cruel. i remember once been given as much as 1500 lines to write, which took me really a whole weekend, from Saturday morning until Sunday evening to write, without making too many breaks!! hated her for that, more still because i sense that she must have really taken some strange pleasure out of administering me that punishment, and having me handing her in the pages full of lines, pages which she usually tore into pieces in front of the class to humiliate me further!
