That isn`t what the scientific community is telling us. They are very worried about the rate at which natural resources are being consumed. As virtually every corner of this planet is known about, it would be odd if most natural resources hadn`t been discovered yet. The planet is old(4.5 billion years) but that`s not relevent.What is important is that humans consume more resources that the Earth can naturally replenish in any given period of time.

Everyone talks about this stuff everyday,

Everybody does talk about global warming too much. True. I know it`s important but sometimes people mistaken any weather anomoly as a sign of GW.The fact is, we don`t know how much warming is directly caused by human activity but our main global problem in my view is overpopulation.

Yeah I do live my life to the full and am usually very cheerful :)
But it`s my future grandchildren I fear for. They will almost certainly have a poorer quality of life than our generation does.
