Subject: Daylight savings time extension

So, what's everyone think of the expansion of daylight savings time from the middle of March until the middle of November? Personally i think that it's just plain bullshit, we already have the dst change to screw with our biological clocks, but to extend it from late winter until late fall?! They might as well start calling dst standard time and what's now known as standard time can be called "winter time" or whatever. Plus the setup makes no sense at all. Why start dst in mid-March, which is still winter? Personally, not only do i like the idea of abolishing dst altogether, but i'd like to take it a step further (although I realize it wouldn't work in the real world). I'd like to aboilish standard time too, and every community could go by sun time, the most natural time to go by. But i could live with standard time year round. 7 months of dst are bad enough (it seems so fake and unnatural), why increase it?
