Hi Horace, I knew your name rang a bell, I believe you and I arrived at the Moseley Rd Remand Home at the same time, I still recall vividly the welcome you recieved and all because you had a slight smile on your face. we were also sent to kingswwod and the Cotswold school at the same time, my number was 1687. I was placed in Georges House and put to work up on the farm in the dairy so I remember Guv Borlace well, He always treated us ok. Some of the other staff names I can recall are mostly from Georges House, Mr Bluette, Mr Mogg, Mr sibbick [Sib] joe Allen [Housemaster] Guv Palmer on occasions. I remember that little piece of Human rubbish Anderson too, I was always on early call for milking and one of us had to take him a cup of morning tea, we always made sure that he got more than milk and sugar.
Oh and that guy Hope? he got his too.
Unfortunately all the records on that place are under lock and key for a lot of years into the future so any chance of recompence is pretty slim at pres, lets hope that changes.
