Chris has reminded me of a few names I recall. I recall Joe Allen, very easy going! Do you recall the way the lads referred to the houses, St George's, do as you are asked house, St Andrews, do as you like house and St Davids, do as you are told house. Were the Sea Cadets going during your time with Fred Green (a real gentleman). Because I had come to the Cotswold via a Sea Training School I joined the Sea Cadets when they started and got on really well with Mr. Green. I used to do voluntary work for Mrs. Kelley, the Head's wife. She would pay me then I would go over to the offices and get paid again by Mr. Kelley. This went on for months before they sussed it. Mr Kelley clipped me round the earhole for my cheek and then laughed it off. I left in March 1963, so I think you must have come more or less as I left. One think I don't understand or maybe don't recall, I am sure we didn't have numbers in my day.
