我想濟記對於學生的中英文寫作的培訓在方向上和數量上是有不足的。以我個人之見，從公開試的角度看，濟記的教學模式是不太配合公開試要求。

會考中、英文及高考英文作文科均看重文筆，可是濟記的教學卻沒有提供甚麼指導。舉例說，雖然大家都明白《六國論》是一篇很好的議論文，但是程度太深了，對一個中五生來說，根本不可能掌握其中精髓和技巧。至於多閱讀報紙雖然對語文水準有幫助，但報紙的文字平鋪直敘，實用有餘而美感不足，故成效斷不能和閱讀名著相比，所以我建議老師可影印一些名家的短篇散文、或過去的師兄佳作範文給學生，使同學學會如何寫一些符合考試要求的「文藝作品」而非報紙般的「實用文字」。

至於高考中文科，則以實用為主。但濟記的教學似乎理論有餘而練習不足。因此老師可減少空談寫作理論而騰出時間讓同學練習，又多鼓勵同學於平日中實踐所學，如學會會長撰寫早會的演講辭、向校方呈交活動建議及報告，文書整理會議紀錄等，使之學以致用。

綜合而言，希望老師多鼓勵學生從不同角度學好寫作，而非單單閱讀較為乏味且欠文學味道的報紙刊物。
