Thank you all so much for your visits, prayers and thoughts for Shane! You have no idea how much it meant to us! We certainly are thankful for our rodeo family! Shanes'progress is no doubt a miracle considering all that he went thru! He still has a ways to go before he is totally healed but Gods grace has been sufficient thus far and words cant explain our thankfulness! Mrs. Jean Marie Hubler was such a blessing since she is employed at Shands. We were so happy to see a familiar face and appreciate all that she did for us! Many came to visit or just to pray with us and we are sooo grateful for it!

I am so full of emotion right now that I get carried away with all of this! You know when you go thru something like this it deepens your faith in the only one that really really matters and that is God! We pray that you know HIM!

Thanks so much again! The Aldridges!

We have a 16 year old paint gelding named Tonto, that you can calf rope, breakaway rope, goat tie and heal off of. He would be great for a youth rider learning to rope. He has been hauled to many jr rodeos and has won our daughter many points, he has no health problems and is a very easy keeper. He is looking for a good home where he can teach yet another one of our youth to love the sport of rodeo!

Thank you for the blessings that you give to us each day;
For friends and family we hold dear, for all you send our way.
We ask that you will guide us well, in everything we do,
And pray we never will forget these blessings that came from you.

The unthankful heart. discovers no mercies;
But let the thankful heart sweep through the day
And as the magnet finds the iron,
So it will find, in every hour, some heavenly blessings!
- Henry Ward Beecher

ON THE FUNNY SIDE
May your stuffing be tasty
May your turkey plump,
May your potatoes and gravy
Have never a lump.
May your yams be delicious
And your pies take the prize,
And may your Thanksgiving dinner
Stay off your thighs!

Wow, what a weekend Bunnell was! First and foremost we'd like to thank the Lord for his protective hand over all of us. We'd like to say a special thank you to Justin Johnson who got to Houston's horse first and kept him from dragging Houston any more than he did. Thank you Frankie McCarthy, Greg Kirland, Scott Musgrove, Levon Richards, Mr. Richardson and everyone else that helped get Houston cut loose from that rope and his horse. I'm sure I'm missing someone, but thank you! We have an awesome association with contestants and parents that really care about everyone in our association. A second thank you to Scott Musgrove for hauling our sick horse all the way back to Jacksonville after the rodeo on Sunday. You are a stellar group of people and we are better for knowing you all. What an example our members are. We are also thankful that Blaine is doing well. If you didn't see the Lord's work this weekend, you weren't looking!!

Date Posted: 12:51:01 11/03/09 Tue

R.D. is an all around rodeo horse. He runs consistent 1D/2D barrels, he has a 21 sec. pole pattern, does flags, will put his but in the dirt when you swing your leg over for goat tie and he will head, heal or break away! He has done all these things for me!! He will slow down for a beginner...and teach your child to rodeo. If you are looking for your 1st all around horse for you or your child, he can do all events and do them well! He has had a 6 year old boy rodeo him and a 12 year old beginner girl run him. He will slow down when you get in trouble or run as hard as he can if you can ride! If you have a child that is ready to step up and win this is the horse for you. I am selling him because my child is not into rodeo and he should be doing rodeo. My 12 year old who has only been riding 18 months ran him NBHA and in three months won $500 at local events. He has seen everything and done everything and broke to death. Watch him run barrels at http://www.triplelequine.com/luckybardigit.htm He loves truly loves to do different things. The more variety in his events the better he does. He has well cared for & must go to a great home...UTD on shots, dental and chiropractic care. No physical issues and always sound!!He gets the best of everything and appreciates it!! This horse is a winner!!

I think that you need to change your name from GA/FLA Rodeo Association to JUST Florida Rodeo Association. You have NO rodeos in Ga. WHY? Folks from Ga. can't participate because of the far away locations. They simply can't afford the gas to go that far!! I thought this was for the kids?! It's a shame that you are punishing the kids that want to participate because their parents can't afford the gas. I don't see why the locations can't remain the same (or close to) as the past 4 years........oh yes I do, the Kirklands live in Florida.

I have a seasoned rodeo 7year old barrel horse "Tiny", money earnings in the IPRA and PCA, very consistent, turny horse. It can compete with the "big dogs", also it has competed at junior rodeos, just sit there and ride. This horse is also a very wicked 20 second pole horse. I am selling him because I have 6 barrel horses and I just got him on trade and sell him before I get to "attached". Also I dont high school rodeo so I don't need that caliber of a pole horse. Attention ALL goat tyers!!! I have asked Lynn Smith, 1998 National Collegiate Rodeo Association Goat Tying Champion and Central Wyoming College girls rodeo coach, to put on another one of her awesome clinics here at Stormy Gray Arena! This clinic will take place December 19th & 20th and would make a fantastic Christmas present.
I generally don't like to push anything but I have to say that Lynn will show you skills and drills that will ONLY improve upon what you already know. You will leave her clinic a more competitive goat tyer if you apply what you learn from her. Jessica Gray, for example,has only been tying goats for 3 years now. Kirsten McManus introduced her to goat tying and from there her love for the event grew! I picked up one of Lynn's videos and was so impressed that I immediately looked to see if she put on clinics. The nearest one was Martin, TN! Well off to Martin we went. It was an incredible clinic and money well spent! So many of us spend hundreds of dollars each rodeo weekend and in some rodeos...$70 an event. Why not use an awesome clinic like this to better your skills and be a sharper goat tyer! Please go visit her website at www.goattyer.com to sign up. I think she is still charging $250 a weekend. Also, please let me know if you can bring a goat. Thanks and I hope you can make it!

14 yr old bay AQHA gelding "Chump". Great junior rodeo horse, placed consistently in poles and barrels, saddle winner in 2007, multiple buckles. I'm moving up to high school rodeo. Very fun to be around, great personalty, very willing, very laid back but knows when it's time to work.

Also, 16 yr old POA mare. Used by beginner for poles and barrels, great for goat tying, used in parades, drill team and hunter jumper stuff. Great all around mare. 13.3 hands, super cute.

If apologize for not keeping you all postedf on the Gator Dawgs. I have been helping the kids get situated with moving away to college and been very busy. The Gator Dawgs came very close to winning coming in 2nd place. I was extremely proud of their efforts. Michele Allison was Reserve Champ Barrel Racer and Chase Hudson was Reserve Champ Bull Rider. Making it back to short go were Clint Summers,Blaine Bennetch, Michele, Chase, Jacoby Johns, Hunter Carter, Slade Bronson, James Greeson and forgive my memory but I believe it was Justin Oglesby. Correct me if Im wrong. I was very proud of our showing there. It was a long, hot week but one full of memories. Thanks to all of the contestants and their families for your support.

New member information will be sent to all of you soon.

Hey Guys hope everyone has been doing well, miss the rodeo life but after school I hope to get back into it.
I have a few horses that I am trying to sell so that I can afford to move away for college either Texas or Kansas.

I have a 16yr old Grey Appendix mare, she is a finished barrel and pole horse, she would make a good Jr Rodeo horse for someone that can ride, has a small gate issue nothing big, runs in the 3D possibly faster with a lighter rider.Proven broodmare. Also her 09 colt!

4yr old Stud horse Docs Prescription, Five Times Leo. Green Broke, relaxed calm horse, he HAS MANNERS, very well behaved,will geld if purchaser requests.
2yr Old AQHA Filly, Impressive(HYPP NN), Cutter Bill, Skipper W bred. Good size now, nice mover, in your pocket type horse. Loves being handled, I am going to start her this week.
For any info please call me at 38-623-9552 or e-mail me prezheeler@yahoo.com
