Carey Gregory Kirkland, 30, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away Monday, September 21, 2009. He was born on August 14, 1979 in Jacksonville, FL. Carey was a carpenter and was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed his children and family and will be deeply missed by them and his friends. Survivors include his father, Greg (Pam) Kirkland; mother, Michele (Tim) Tienter; wife, Jennifer Schinker Kirkland; sons, Charles �Charlie� Edward Kirkland and Andrew Gerald Ryan; brother, Terry of Gainesville, FL; sisters, Alexis Nichole Daughtery of Starke, FL and Brittani Kirkland of La Crosse, FL; grandmother, Mary Sue Reeves of Middleburg, FL and great-grandmother, Martha Bush Kirkland of Colquitt, GA. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Thursday, September 24, 2009 at Broadus-Raines Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, September 25, 2009 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Pastor Paul O�Steen officiating. Interment will follow in Holly Hill Cemetery.
