 I was only able to watch the first and third programmes, but not the middle one. I too found it emotional and inspiring esp as all my teaching work to date has been with adults (18+) and I had wondered about the suitability of Jolly Phonics for them. I thought Mr Beadle's results were truly magnificent and i liked the way he stood up to the establishment and questioned everything. I felt he dealt very well with his students but I have seen comments on this forum and in the Times Culture TV pages, critcising him. I hope I can be as good a teacher one day.
