I've stopped watching for answers. Now I just watch for more questions. One thing I'm positive about, the ultimate shrimp dinner at Captain D's is not all that ultimate.

Until I hear otherwise, I'll believe they're sticking to that despite the aftereffects of the strike.

I've already got a loose idea for what I think we'll see in the series finale. For now I'm sticking with my theory that in the flashforward time period on the show, the non-sixers are all alive and still stuck on the island. I think the finale will show the Oceanic Six getting off the island and the ensuing coverup to keep the island a secret, and in flashforward show them going back to rescue everybody else. It all seems to be heading that direction now, at least.

This season will likely end with the 6 leaving the island while the future 6 are pinpointing just how to get back to the island.

Next season, perhaps will be the two timelines converging on the island for the 2nd rescue and what will happen with all that.

Last season...I'm not sure. It's possible the above two season could be stretched over three but I'd prefer a faster pace so I'm hoping not!

But then, the show could just end with Vincent claiming the throne chair in the cabin or some such thing, so who knows.

It's not determined yet if the whole set of eps will be produced this season, I think. Which may result in a season 4 and 4 1/2. Or that Season 6 will actually become season 7. Last time I poked around I didn't think any decisions had been made.

...or news article or something where it said that season four was gonna have six or seven more episodes produced to air a couple weeks after the current set is all aired, and that these episodes would complete a slightly condensed version of the planned season four story, and season five would pick up next season as planned. The same interview/article thing said that episode eight, the last one to be produced before the strike, would air as part of this second block, since apparently it's a super special episode and works better as a mini-premiere than a mini-finale.

I'll dig up a link tomorrow, as it's late and I'm beat.
