Let me ask all to tell us about their smoking Thursday.
Well, we know about the weekend playoff games. My son's team plays a best of 3 series. It starts Thursday night at this neutral location about 2 hours away. It resumes
Saturday at the same neutral location at 1 p.m. A third game, if necessary, will follow in about 15 minutes.
The girls play a single game Friday night at another mid-way location but not all that far away. They could have had a series and may well do it if they keep advancing. The sports pages say more and more girls teams are going for the playoff series.
We're taking our other 2 boys to the game. I think my middle son will take Lee Ann along. He wants to take her to the boys game Friday night when our oldest's gf Amber plays. There are so many going, no tell about the transportation.
On another note, the smoking continues at work. Amy brought her own pack yesterday and repaid Marilyn who helped introduce her for the first time. Amy's 37. Valerie, about 35, took one from Amy. I've never seen her smoke. She says she also smokes for Cinco de Mayo, which is tomorrow. She calls it her New Year's Eve.
Meanwhile, the smoking continues among the young kids in the house behind us. My husband calls Lacy, the 12-year-old who seems to be the magnet, the ring leader who will probably be the first on her block to blow smoke rings. I've tried and I'm not sure I will ever be able to blow smoke rings.
Some of the finest families are represented at Lacy's hiding place which is protected from view by their shed and out shed in the back yard. They smoke in Lacy's yard. My son says it's a great place to talk to girls but that he and Tom Jr. are not among the smokers.
The dirty lung almost dozen includes Heidi and Tammy, the 8th and 6th grade daughters of Marilyn, who is helping Amy start; Kelli, sixth grade daughter of Elaine who has tried smoking and has an 18-year-old smoking daughter named Ellen; Lola who's mother does not smoke but her big sister Leah, 18, does; the 7th grade daughter of Rhonda and Jack, a divorcing couple; and Carole, 12, the youngest sister of Amber.
I'm closing the way I started: Please tell us about your smoking Thursday and any plans for Cinco de Mayo.
