Subject: I would never pay that much to enter a prelim. That is crazy. I heard they use their friends to judge their pagenats and they know all the kids.

If I recall, the emcee did say that if you had any questions concerning the pageant to be sure to come and talk to them. And they were still there when I left which was plenty of time to speak with them. Also, there was about 20 kids there, not 13. The awards were not cheap.
