Subject: Do you think when ppw says"photos do not have to be professional" that they really mean it? Like when they say "no modeling experience necessary" but then the best model wins. Now my DD has not lost a pageant recently or anything I was just wondering how other moms felt about this. I think that a lot of times judges are looking at the "glitz" and not the ppw. Does anyone else have an opinion on this. I could be wrong...lol

[> I think pictures that are not professional do well as long as they are clear. Fuzzy pictures don't do so well. As far as modeling (no experience required)..kids who model show confidence. I don't know if this reflect in the personality score, but it might (rather than looking down and being shy). JMO -- Depends of the system too (Facial pageant or total package) -- Anonymous, 16:50:39 11/19/05 Sat [1]

[> [> [> [> [> I think any child who goes on stage and is outgoing or can look at the judges and smile without being shy does well. We used to be there and my dd went thru the terrible 2's. LOL Personalilty reflects and it just depends on what the directors instructions to the judges are. -- Anonymous, 17:03:51 11/19/05 Sat [1]
