Here is my opinion on this...You have to have a break in the wall and I have heard several people say that it shouldnt be in the turn. I have raced there and that wall is not in the racing groove, and the way he got clipped and pushed in there, the same thing would have happened no matter where that break in the wall is. And think about this, if its not in the turn, then you will have even more speed if you hit it. Bottom line is for as long as the track has been there, we never had an accident to that extent there and every track is going to have a few no matter how they are built. I think they responded great and put water barrels there before they resumed and are doing a great job at safety.
