Alan, you have made my point. They deleted the pre-64 music before flipping to JACK-FM. And in those 2 years, the rtings fell. I am aware that the station must cater to society and what people are listening to, but where is it written that to add the 80's you must get rid of the 50's? It makes no sense to me and apparently to many other people who are saying the same things. The only way to get that changed is to voice an opinion, hope enough people feel the same to spark a change. You said yourself you'd prefer 50's -70's, but heck, the 80's is 20+ years ago and there is no reason to exclude them. 50's-80's, 4 decades of music. How sweet would that be?
