Subject: If I were the Program Director OF CBS-FM

First of all, I am thrilled that CBS-FM is back playing our music again. I think Brian Thomas is doing a great job in programming the station except for the lack of pre 1964 music. I love pre 1964 music like many of the people who have complained about the lack of it. Although I like 50's and early 60's music, my favorite music is 60's music since that is the time when I was a teenager growing up. The station is trying to get the younger audience so this is why they are not playing 50's and early 60's music. Since the station is centering its playlist on the 70's to attract the younger audience, I would like to revise the playlist so that everybody will be happy and be able to hear the music that they like. I would make 15% of the playlist 50's and early 60's, 30% of the playlist from the 60's, 40% of the playlist from the 70's and 15% of the playlist from the 80%. I would also bring back the Sunday Night HOF show which Norm N. Nite used to have since he played an extensive playlist of songs from the early era of Rock and Roll. I think Madison Avenue and the station will be happy since 55% of the playlist wil be from the 70's and 80's since they are trying to attract the younger audience. It will make the Older listeners who like the earlier music happy as well. I would also have other specialty shows from the various era's. I think I am being very fair with this. I am aware that Justin who is 26 likes 50's music which is great but I think everybody should give the station a chance. Again, I would rather have the CBS-FM playing our music as we do now than Jack.
