What are the chances that a successful -- or at the least, 'present' -- NYC Jack format is truly essential to the entire nationwide premise? And that the duration of this current occupation failure of 101.1 traces to nothing other than marketing stubbornness and/or faint hopes of having a 'flagship' develop?

In New York City, WEVD, WBBR and WQEW also are getting crap numbers and remain crap because these facilities are in *** Market Number One ***. Would this 10 1/2 month 101.1 format be based on just that provincial thinking alone? Why should it be any different?
