Beginnnig in early 2001 and continuing to Black Friday, June 3, 2005, Infinity deliberately and systematically destroyed CBS-FM. They got what they wanted. They obviously would rather take tax losses than give people the entertainment they want and deserve, regardless of age demographics. Infinity has the three of the lowest rated full-signal FM stations in the largest radio market in the country, including THE lowest, the notorious JACK-FM. Is this good business? Is this what Harvard Business School teaches it's students? I think and hope not! However, and I know I've said this before, this is how business is done in 2006. Witness all the corporate scandals of recent years (e.g. Enron, MCI, Tyco) and it supports my point.
