Yes Gus this is true, it was the greatest radio station of all time but you have to realize one thing, the senior staff had no choice but to change the format due to what CBS-RADIO (INFINITY BROADCASTING) wanted them to do with the playlist. I strongly feel that if the CBS-FM staff had a say they never would have switched the playlist that took the radio station in a different direction and we would still be listening to CBS-FM and this conversation would not be taking place. If anyone is to blaim for WCBS-FM's demise it is INFINITY BROADCASTING.
