Subject: Six Months Ago this Weekend

I know I probably don't have to remind anyone that reads this board but it is six months ago this weekend that Infinity Broadcasting pulled the plug on the oldies format on WCBS FM. It is a day and a time that so many of us will never forget.

I have kept up with what is going on in radio for over 48 years. I have seen my share of formats and stations change and I have never seen as much opposition to a change as what happened on June 3. People are still talking and writing about it.

I still believe that New York will have a full time oldies radio station in the future.
