If Ash is Apollymi's son, then he's an Apollite -- descended of Apollo. Apollo would then hate him because the Apollites killed Apollo's mistress and son. That would also explain why Ash only drinks blood and doesn't eat food. Perhaps Apollymi bound Ash's life force to Styxx so that Ash wouldn't die on his 27th birthday. (Of course, he was betrayed and killed when he was 21, but if that hadn't happened, then something else would have had to keep him alive). I wonder why Apollymi -- an Atlantean and a Destroyer -- has a name so close to Apollo. Wouldn't it be interesting if she was related to Apollo and Artie?
