Remember the squire who makes the awesome weapons-dolls, Liza, tells him in an early book that his wounds need tending. As to everything else with the "oh, we thought Simi was the last Charonte, but apparently she isn't, etc." -- well, I think the ebil Author Goddess Sherri is keeping things from her characters, too. Just because Sherri knew about Xirena, doesn't mean she told Ash. Hehehehehe. Of course, maybe Simi isn't a full blooded Charonte. Aha -- new theory alert.
