well, a state-of-the-art Rogers luge from California is about $750, but Chalky in Yorkshire is probably your best bet, as he can knock you a pretty useful one up for somewhat less (I think something under 300 quid). Dunno if he's making any at the mo, but get his email from previous postings... (He wrote a rant in capitals a few weeks back).
Chris Beard also imports or makes Darren Lott's speed sticks, but I think they might be better for more advanced riders, as they're a bit less stable and are better with more specialised trucks. But I stand correctable...
