well for F's sake, anyone who's been downhill boarding in the UK has a good chance of having met Jon. Jon is outspoken and some people think he steps on feet, but I think that'd only ever be accidentally, as he's a bluntspoken no-nonsense type but likes to get things done.
The first time I heard of Longleat it was Jon who'd been down there with a couple of others, so I vaguely remember.

But Jon, I don't know the ins and ous of this, but given it's going ahead I'd like to hope it does work, as it's a well-located venue, and meant to be a good hill.
