The £45 includes an anual SSSprint membership fee. A cheeper day membership is available. If another van is being used I expect this price would include the transport or drop some more. In addition, as I mentioned, for students it is less.

Many people will tell you that Gurston is a slow, beginners course, and not worth doing. The first two are correct, you wont get much above 35-40mph and it is very well suited to beginners because of its safety. However I love going there, I get to meet up with freinds, have a laugh and a ride. Gurston is also very technical, the two corners are very sharp and require braking and skill offering a good challenge to returning riders. Another plus is the timing, while moste runs are solo, they are all timed, this gives you a chance to benchmark and race against yourself.

It probably isn't worth traveling a huge distance to, especially since all the best racing is at BGSA events. But if you arn't more than a few hours away, havn't been before and are up for a laugh, I'd recommend it.
