I suspect someone just might be having a dig at me here? I will be the first to admit that I'm not a BGSA member, and the reason is mainly that as the BGSA is in its infancy, that broader "membership" for non-competing or family type membership has not yet been considered. I believe that the BGSA should consider this sort of membership very soon, at the very least to increase its membership, and importantly to increase its financial base. Certainly, If an appropriate type of membership is offered, then I will sign up poste-haste. In the meantime, I will continue my support.
Certainly, I believe at this time, that due to my son Ian being a paid up member, and if consideration is made of all the support I give directly (and indirectly) to this sport, then there is no case to answer that I do nothing but support this fascinating sport of gravity biking.
And if you check back with e-mails on this message board, you will note that I advocate that a vote is taken. NOT that I wish to cast a vote personally. I think this distinction is important!
As for who can vote? That issue needs to be discussed!
