No your never to old.
The best start for the gravity bikes is get hold of an old Bmx this is for the stock class and the cheapest to start with.If you can not find one you can pick a new one up for between £100 £120 Its best to have one with V brakes and alot of the bikes in this price range have these as standed.

Next are the tyres you have to change these for high pressure 100 130 psi £12 each.If you need any help putting one together I can point you the right way.
If you do have a contact for Loton Park i need to talk to you. This hillclimb would be idea i have been and checked it out so if you can help here that would be great.
Shelsley Walsh has its problems with the banking that runs down most of the road.
I thinking of doing something again in Dec at Traws near Bala in north Wales (Christmas Bash)
