It seems to me that if Aviemore is to stand any sort of chance this year, or in future, then if we get a substantially larger entry, then financially we must be on a better footing. One way would be to invite the Gravity Racers out there, and they are very high tech' racers, mainly made by manufacturers like Ricardo, for one other main event, Goodwood.
I've had a chat with one Gravity Racer being made for this event, and they would very like to race AFTER the Goodwood event, which this year is on July 13th to 15th. BUT say that perhaps other teams would still compete at Aviemore at the normal time, ie end of May, by using their 2002 Racers.
Either way, there are about 28 Racers out there, and �100 Entry Fee each would go a long way to making Aviemore financially viable.
When and where are we meeting?
