I see the scouse jokes are comign back! And I've been kindly refraining fro ages :-)

Jamie, the reason is that the bigger wheels do allow you to go faster. It certainly helped me at the weekend when I had to use 76mm wheels instead of 70s as that's all I had that would keep me on the mountain. My top speed soaredm and it did definately help me. So,l 70mm it is. THey're cheaper, anyway.
Red Kryptos are excellent (well, pink or whatever they are)m as are the ABEC 11 green Flashbacks.
