Here are some pointers Ryan: Most common bikes that show up to race have been assembled from a bmx type bike. Take off the cranks, chain, gooseneck & handlebars, seat & seat post leaving you with a basic "rolling chassis". Since a lower center of gravity is preferred first put pegs on you rear axle and add a seat ( some use the Bannana style seat) and handle bars as low as possible so that you are laying across the bike. Play around with the positioning of your handle bars and seat so that you are comfortable. Make sure that your FRONT & REAR brakes are adjusted properly and then try running a hill, start small and work your way up as you are comfortable and play around to get your comfort on the bike to your liking. You can check out most of our bikes at www.GravityBike.com and I have a page on www.iwasabducted.com/drno
Good luck and have fun but always be safe.
