I know a lot has been done by yourself, and well to (by everyones accounts Avimore rocked), but is there really an organised race SERIES? I haven't heard of one, and all questions on this forums about when races are going on seem to recieve the reply: Info about meets are usually posted here a bit before. I'm talking about a series planed and organised the season before it happens, with provisional dates, venues, etc, etc. Once a series has been organised, run, and proved to work THEN proper sponsorship will appear and new members will be attracted.

PLEASE don't take to much offence, what has been done is great, and doing it, and more, is hard I know, but without further organisation the sport will stop developing. Imagine how popular and affluent F1 would be if the drivers were saying "hey lets meet up on the 25th for a race" "no I can't do the 25th, I'm visiting my parents, how about the 2nd?", yes it would still be fun, and those that did it would enjoy them selfs, but there would be no sponsorship, no one would watch, etc...

I would personally love to spend some time in the organisation, I have fairly good telephone and research skills, and some ideas, BUT it takes a lot of co-opperation between many people and a resistance to change and further development will kill the sport off.

If there is anyone else interested and has ideas please put them foward, you must be Chris.

Joel
