I've never suffered from them myself, my son used to get them regularly when he was younger they made him thoroughly miserable, fingers crossed he doesn't seem to get them anymore.

There is a ball at uni in a few weeks but I'm not sure yet if I'm going. There's no special someone I want to go with and I don't want to just with a friend. So it depends on whether my girlfriends want to give up waiting for Prince Charming and go in a group or not!

Besides, I realized I have just about no fancy dress and I might as well buy one now instead of waiting for the ocassion to arise and then panic. ;)

Now if I could only decide between all the pretty dresses!

I like this one a lot and it comes with that shawl thing, but I'm not a big fan of the bright blue.

This one isn't as shapeless as it seems and it's the perfect color - it doesn't show up well on the photo but it's actually a dark blue-green.

I like this dress the best, except that I already own a purple dress and I'd like to go with another color this time. But I like this one best and I could also buy a matching shawl thing for it...

although to be honest you look very pretty in all of them which makes it even harder to make a choice but I do like the addition of a shawl, adds a touch of glamour. Your personal choice is perfect really, especially if you can get a shawl to go with it and anyway, how can you go wrong with my favourite colour, purple?
