It sounds intresting but not if the different wives are constantly bitching and catfighting.

I accidentally got up an hour early because plans fell through and I forgot to change my alarm clock, so now I'm faffing around online a bit before I leave for uni.

Also I cooked and ate sooooo much this weekend - enchiladas, honey-mustard chicken, pizza, curry veggies, diet cola brownies and peach crisp (which did not end up crispy when I substituted butter for applesauce). I'm still stuffed but man, was it good.

Happy Monday everyone! Hope your week gets off to a good start.

[> mornin' all -- andypandy, 11:06:28 03/23/09 Mon [1] (161.112.232.17)

my effin' cable box has died taking along all my recordings with it, bloody stupid thing, I know how Darren must have felt now, engineer is coming tonight with a replacement box *sigh*

I also have eaten far too much this weekend, my kids took me out for a meal yesterday for Mothers Day to an italian restaurant nearby which was lovely as was the big box of Thortons chocolates plus some sugared almonds, I was thoroughly spoilt and enjoyed every minute of it

Ah well, back to reality my phone just won't shut up this morning

have a nice day folks

I hate women who try and use their sexuality to get their own way with male colleagues and equally hate male colleagues who are stupid enough to fall for it

I'm guessing he won't, although it certainly should be possible unless it was the drive itself that failed. You should ask, and see if you can apply some gentle pressure.

Because otherwise you've lost everything that was on it, and as you said, you were way behind on your shows. So you'll have lost BSG, Generation Kill, Terminator, Lost, everything. Arghh. It's gonna be hard to get all that stuff back, but if you don't you'll just end up permanently behind with everything.

I guess that is a lesson to not get too behind with your shows ...

everything is zapped when they go dead like that, I have no idea why it happened, I don't seem to have had it that long they seem to be so sensitive and freeze all the time which means you have to constantly reboot to get them going again, however this time it died completely and wouldn't come back on even though I disconnected everything and left it for a while, still no joy

I'm more upset about losing the whole seven eps of Generaton Kill, I can beg steal and borrow everything else, my neighbour has the last two eps of Terminator I need to see before this weeks ep and an ex of mine is going to copy some other stuff on disc for me

Yes, I sat in the office for four hours yesterday evening with a bottle of wine and watched the BSG finale, Dollhouse and Terminator. All were really good. It was the best Terminator episode in ages, made me sad it is probably going to be cancelled. The 6th episode of Dollhouse was, as Joss threatened, amazing and a total game-changer. Dollhouse has instantly gone from kinda meh, to oh-my-fikkin'-God-I-can't-wait-for-the-next-episode. The BSG finale was breathtaking in its audacity, and did indeed do the impossible in tying everything up with very little in the way of loose ends dangling. I am not sure if I entirely liked *how* they decided to tie things up, but there was no denying that it was an amazing piece of TV.

please tell me you're wrong about Terminator being cancelled, I'm really sick of this happening, its a great show and doesn't deserve cancellation! *cries*

glad you got to see all you wanted to see and didn't get into trouble, did you sit in a darkened room all sneaky like?

I can't get angry about it to be honest. It has had consistently bad ratings. It had bad ratings in its first season and the network took a chance and gave it a second. That's more than any fan could ask for and it has still performed badly even with lots of promotion. Fox are a business and I think they've been fair with Terminator. The show has been quite hit and miss, with some very strong episodes but also with a lot of weak ones. A classic case in point was their return after the hiatus. Three very slow episodes about the state of Sarah's psyche. I remember reading a quite well written blog post explaining why these were crucial to the dramatic structure of the arc, and whilst agreeing with the author I was also struck by the thought that his blog post had been more interesting than the episodes in question. Three quite dull episodes when it was absolutely crucial they come back from the hiatus with all guns blazing? Disaster. I really do enjoy the show and I honestly believe it has potential but I will be pleasnatly astonished if isn't cancelled. It is losing viewers with every episode. Nevertheless if you are a fan you should keep watching as it looks like it will go out on a bang.

I'm still be sad to see it go, I must admit to falling asleep during a couple of episodes but for the most part I really enjoy it and am invested in all the characters. On a personal note I will be sad for Lena, she's a distant relative and the family are very proud of her success, I'm sure this won't be the last we see of her on screen.
