Do you think he was playing with me and using the no girlfriend thing as an excuse not to have to tell me that he just didn't want me? Or do you think he was actually honest but then someone better came along?

I'm sorry to say that the "I just don't want a girlfriend" is generally code for "I don't want YOU as my girlfriend". I know it is in my case. Sorry. It sucks.

Before you hang draw and quarter him I do feel the need to point out that gretch's crush hasn't actually done anything wrong. He is allowed to have a girlfriend you know! It just sucks for gretch. Whereas by the sounds of it Gab's guy dicked her around completely.
