Ah well therein lies the problem you see Darren........... -- andypandy, 18:01:46 01/08/09 Thu [1] (82.30.76.72)
I start quite early in the morning, around 7.30am which means I have a very early breakfast at home, early lunch and early dinner because I am absolutely starving when I finish work around 4.30/5pm. Of course if I'm not careful I nibble all evening as well, can't win really!
I do love Friday and Saturday evenings though, always eat around 7.30/8.30pm if I'm at home or later if I'm going out for dinner anywhere.
Sundays I just eat like a pig all day! ;-)

I'm the opposite -- DZR, 18:13:49 01/08/09 Thu [1] (62.240.244.114)
I don't start work until 10am, and as I live so close to work I don't get up until 9am. I have a light breakfast (a bowl of cereal or a piece of toast) just before leaving for work, have lunch about 2pm and then dinner about 9pm. I must say it is much easier to keep those sort of hours living either on the continent or in Edinburgh where everything is open much later in the evening. I used to find it quite odd in England (with the exception of London) to find that by the time I'd gotten round to having dinner there was no point in going out because everything was shut! I often wonder how dismayed unsuspecting Spanish or South American tourists must feel on arriving in England and going out for dinner at 11pm only to find that all the restaurants are shut and that bars either don't serve food or stopped serving it hours ago!

I'd love to start work at 10am............. -- andypandy, 18:29:05 01/08/09 Thu [1] (82.30.76.72)
and still finish at 4pm of course, no drop in salary either! Dinner at 11pm? that's bedtime!
Must say it has improved around here in the last few years, lots of restaurants and bars around the Uni now which are open all hours of the day and night and serve all sorts of delicious cuisine, very tempting to eat out every night but can't afford it.

I'm doing something very foolish at the moment.......... -- andypandy, 22:51:26 01/08/09 Thu [1] (82.30.76.72)
eating two thick slices of toast with melted cheddar cheese
I can't resist it when I'm in one of my moods
but I bet it keeps me awake for ages when I go to bed
*sigh*

Sushi won't harm you, especially the veggie kind! -- andypandy, 08:33:16 01/09/09 Fri [1] (161.112.232.17)
its very light on the stomach, not like thick slices of toast and cheese!! Actually it didn't keep me awake at all, slept like a log last night, feel much better today, mind you, that might be because its Friday ;-)

Argentineans! -- DZR, 10:41:10 01/09/09 Fri [1] (62.240.244.114)
And the Spanish too. Maybe it's something to do with the heat. But they eat very late at night.
