Beetroot is very common in salads in Europe. Not in USA? They even use it in France, and as France is the culinary capital of the world it must be good.

Although possibly Andy was drinking beetroot juice. They're weird up north.

you wouldn't see beets on a menu though. nor is it served regularly in homes...or sprinkled on anything. *barf*
