(He smirked, enjoying the banter they were having. He really didn't want more of the marshmellows, he was just playing around with her - it was sort of like baiting a bear after hibernation.. he had a feeling she would pounce on the little plastic baggie if he were to move towards her or threaten them in any way.) Yeah, we both work for the government.. though I have been doing it a lot longer.. this is her first official mission and I am worried about her pushing herself too hard when shes upset. (He was like Dag in that he would stoop to any level in order to protect his woman from any forseeable danger. He arched a brow as he compared him to the other man and shook his head.) I just don't like his attitude.. instead of 'Hello' we got 'State yar business' (He crossed his arms over his chest and mimicked Dag's brogue just as Dag himself walked in, brow furrowed.) (He hid the smirk inside him as he crossed over to where Addie was and laid a hand on her shoulder, now dry save for his still slightly damp hair.) It's 'yer', ye bluidy fool.. I'm nay a damn pirate. (He said with a short laugh that gave away his amusement at Kyrian's botched Scottish accent.. he really had sounded more like a pirate.) All ye need is a peg leg, laddie and ye could have yer own fleet. (He grinned rakishly, it was fun getting back at the other man.) (He smiled at her, knowing he would miss the company but grateful that he would be allowed to rest.) That sounds great, Jailynn.. and thanks. (He said softly, smiling at her for a moment before he relaxed back on the bed with a sigh, lifting his hands up behind his head and closing his eyes.) I could get used to this, you know.. perhaps I will bring Shay out to visit you when the mission is over. (He said softly, opening his eyes again to look over at her, they had never really had a honeymoon.. so perhaps he would take his leave after the mission to bring her here.) She'd like meeting you guys and I know she would like being around all the babyies.
