She hugged him tightly, pressing a tender kiss to his forehead as she raised her hand to brush his hair out of his face. They sat quietly for a good ten minutes, just holding one another before she gently brushed her lips under each of his eyes. After another few moments silence she pulled back to kiss him briefly on the lips right before she spoke. "We have a wee sick lad upstairs who is waitin' on us to tuck him in..." She murmured, her eyes moving over his. "We should go get on that and then take care of the situation with Mairah so we can get to our own bed...well our bed here...for the night..." She knew he had to be feeling emotional drained, it wasn't often Gavin Roderick broke down like that nor was it often he let his emotions control him so thoroughly so she had a feeling he had to be exhausted...
