(He had been watching her and was just as suprised as she was when the contraction struck so soon, though he supposed in the long run that was good because it meant the labor would be shorter for her.. and therefore for him as well. His patience and calm allowed him to be able to keep eye contact with her and force her to return his gaze after she had cried out in a way that had to have had Dageus cringing.. the poor lad was probably outside with headphones on at that very moment. When the contraction was over, he ran his hand over her forehead and murmured praise to her, looking over as the doctor arrived and went about checking on her. He had spoken to Loch about the birth of his lads and the other man had told him that Rhia had appreciated him holding her while she was in labor, so he did that for Jailynn.. shifting her so that he could sit behind her, her back against his chest so that he could support her weight and give her his strength. He murmured softly in her ear in gaelic, just praising and loving her as he ran his hands over her arms.)

She had gotten annoyed earlier with the Gaelic though really, in all honesty, the majority of the time she enjoyed it. He tended to whisper it to her when they were making love, so perhaps that was the reason but at the moment she was in to much pain to even really realize that he wasn't speaking english. A soft cry escaped her again as she winced against the pain, holding onto her husbands arms now as she tried hard not to push until the doctor told her even though it felt like she needed too. When the doctor told her to push, she nearly wept in relief but instead focused all her energy on pushing as hard as she could, breathing in between push's as the doctor and Dare both encouraged her.
