(He smirked as she teased him about his stench, though he really did enjoy the way she was acting more familial with him now that they had spent more time together.. had stood up for and defended each other. He ran his finger down the bridge of her nose gently to smooth out the way she had wrinkled it and nodded.) Aye, I am feeling a bit lazy now that things have settled down a wee bit. (He had had such an adreneline rush at having that gun pointed at him, regardless of how he was able to play it off as though it hadnt bothered him, and now that it had completely worn off he was feeling worn. He slipped his hand into hers and then thought better of it and put his arm around her lightly as they walked up towards the east wing where their chambers were.) Och, I honestly can't remember the last time I smoked a cigar. (He said after a moment's reflection, just a thoughtful statement because he too had noticed the smell and wondered why he hadn't in the past.. it had just been a lot longer since he had smelled one and it was different to him.) (She smiled as he took the older of the two lads and burped him, scooping up Finn in her arms. As usual, the lad took a wee bit of coaxing to get him to realize it was dinner time, then he latched on and nursed, his bright eyes locked on his mam. She made a playful face at him before looking over at Loch again.) Innocent my arse, the two of em were drunk when they handfasted.. to think he was gettin a wee lass like her drink.. stinks of something ye would do love. (She said with a loving smirk, her gaze warm on him as it tended to be whenever she saw him so lovingly holding his son.. nothing made her weaker inside then seeing a strong man tending so carefully to his baby. She grinned impishly at his inference that she was a bad influence on the lass.) If it weren't fer me that lad would have to wait a week for her to even go to the doctor to see about birth control.. I see it that I have simply helped him avoid lasting physical damage. (She said with a laugh that made Finn fuss at her.. she had a feeling the younger of the two boys was going to be the quiet, reserved type.. he was inteligent and prone to go his own way.. sort of catlike.)
