 ~+~*Yuki and Fenrir were the only people who actually had the answer to that, and neither of them was inclined to answer. Kari looked about ready to stab them both in the back, and the little sparks around her suggested that she planned to do just that. Considering that both of them were still beaten and broken, it wouldn't take much to kill either of them. She never actually got the chance.

Fenrir turned, and her skin instantly warped and became a metalic black in color. Her hair fused into one glassy piece that was not quite fluid and not quite solid, and the metalic black of her skin slowly developed gray markings that were identical to those you saw on the Hand of Chaos.

As if called, the Hand of Chaos version of Kari melted out of Yuki's shoulder, and dove at her counterpart- fangs and claws drawn. The phyical self of Kari didn't stand much of a chance against the spiritual aspect of her. The end was swift, as the victor absorbed the victim. You had a very bad feeling about that.

Your fears were well founded- as about three seconds later, you heard an ungodly wail from above you as the final portion of Kari, the representative of Oroborus, materialized and descended from the ceiling. She went straight for her other self, never letting the wail drop. It felt as though she was sucking your brain out through your forehead- and that may well have been what was happening. You were never sure.

Kaze's apparition appeared shortly after as well, dropping from the same point in the ceiling.*~+~

Kaze- KARI, DON'T!

~+~*Too late. The spiritual form that claimed the body also claimed the soul, driving a claw through her heart at the exact point that had initially seperated the pieces in the first place. The pink haired creature turned black, and was absorbed by her other self.

The markings on the remaining pieces face turned violet, and she was severed from Yuki before taking a defensive stance between him and Fenrir.*~+~

Kaze- Yuki, what the hell are you doing?!

Yuki- Putting a few skeletons to rest.

~+~*Kaze advanced, but was unceremoniously knocked back by Kari. Niwa screamed, instinctively going to aid Kaze even though he had been dead for a long time. Yuki turned towards the door as Kiyoshi and Kohiro started shouting urgent warnings to their bonds, causing them to flee with disturbing speed. As the Mandragora's from outside cleared the barrier line and advanced, they were all met with- and destroyed by- the black fires of Chaos.

The mirrors around the room shattered, spilling their contents out onto the floor around the room.*~+~
