oh, we know that we are in a cave- it is just the view that keeps us from really knowing that it is a cave. an enchantment, if you will. we all know where the exits are, as well- there are, i think, eight in total- not counting the one leading to the Other Shore. the spells on the walls only cover the rock and make it beautiful- we still know that it is rock. otherwise, we would not be able to build our homes in it- they would be floating in the sky.

....i left through the North Gate, and climbed onto the mountain from there. i left my escort behind when i used a sealed-spell that somebody gave me to create a small Gate. i have been using it to get around ever since.

~*~*he held out his left hand, which was when you first noticed a small gem embedded in the back of it. it changed colors as the light reflected off of it.*~*~

my magic is sealed in this. the spell that was given to me was in a small stone shard that i am keeping on a necklace right now. i would show it to you, but i fear that i might drop it and never find it.... general paranoia between me and those like me.
