He questioned softly, his voice still that icey, angry tone that sounded even more bitter with it's soft inflictions. "Because it was a real walk in the park waking up to find you gone. It was great going months wondering where the hell you were, if you were hurt, if you had met someone else, if you had just said fuck it and didn't care in the first place. It was pretty easy to tell everyone you left me and you know, not just me either. It's been great for Remy too, feeling like it's his fault that you took off and this monitoring this mission that you caused? Yeah, it's perfect for his marriage." He shook his head, clenching his teeth. "You selfish, self centered little..." Cutting himself off, he just let out a shaky breath and narrowed his eyes again. "Well, by all means, Gia, let me apolagize for you feeling like shit for leaving me. I'm sorry I made it so damn hard for you to walk out of my life."
