Subject: She was so overwhelmed as she nodded a little, holding his face in her hands for a long moment before she returned the kiss and rested her forehead against his. "Wanna go home..." She murmured, her voice thick and rusty due to lack of use. Her hand shifted down to her stomach, resting there as her eyes dropped down to the swell that was holding their child. She was worried about the baby, praying for it to move and let her know that it was ok. She just wanted to go home with her husband and have everything be normal and ok again. "Knew you'd come..." She offered a slight smile, always the strong one, even when she had gotten shot she had been cracking jokes and she would probably be doing the same thing now if her voice didn't sound so phony and she wasn't so worried about the baby.

  • As soon as they were outside of the room she winced and turned her face into his chest, the bright light hurting her eyes which hadn't seen much light at all in the past three weeks. She kept them squeezed shut for the moment, until she was in the car when they fluttered open briefly but before long, hell, before he even really was in the car and driving - she was asleep.
