She laughed softly, shaking her head as she watched him start to eat before she picked up her own fork and took much smaller, more delicate bites despite the way she was starving. "This isn't Scotland anymore, I don't think the maids here are used to tending to people quite in the same way as the attendants back home are." She smiled warmly though, taking a sip of her water before she set the glass back down. "Besides, I would have awoken if I had slipped beneath the water, I am sure." She took a few moments silence to appreciatively dig into her dinner before she looked up again when he offered his name. "Griogair..." She tested it out on her lips before she smiled. "I think you already know who I am but I'll tell you anyways, my name is Mairah." She smiled a little, seemingly bashful before she dropped her eyes back down to her plate and took another bite of the chicken, sighing in pleasure at it nearly melted on her tongue. She was still hungry but after not eating for four days straight and only eating tiny bits before that she knew if she ate much more so quickly she would be ill. "I haven't really eaten much in the past few days, perhaps I should give this time to settle before eating more..."
